Woke up early to watch my brother in his first surf contest. My mom and I stopped by Surf House Surf Shop for some hot chocolate. It was absolutely amazing. It tasted like liquid Hershey bars. At the contest my brother didn't win either of his heats, but he surfed well and got some experience. I basically hung out with friends and watched them surf for several hours, won some cookies, and saw some friends that I hadn't seen in a while.
Next was lunch at Gulf Stream with Big Chief and my brother. The fried shrimp really hit the spot. After lunch We surfed Skipper for about 4 hours on a small but fun wave. We got out and went back to Surf House for their 6-8pm hot chocolate sample event. They had traditional which is what I got earlier, peppermint, gingerbread, and Mexican. I tried the Mexican, which is chocolate with cayenne pepper. Contrary to what you would guess, it was delicious. Chief got some peppermint that is made with Andes mints. It was good, but I don't think I could drink a whole mug.
We finished up their and I headed to Misty's to watch a movie. After the movie I met Corey, Chief, and Brennan at Buffalo Wild Wings for some pulled pork nachos and boneless wings.
Nothing major, but the whole day just felt right. I'm tired and going to bed. Surf is supposed to be good in the morning.

Back from DC
Misty and I left Sunday morning and headed to DC. It took about 5 hours at a leisurely pace. Virginia is a pretty state to drive through. Lots of autumn colors in the trees and rivers flowing under the highway. We got to our hotel and I passed out on the bed while she got ready for the show. Then we headed to DC around 5pm. If you have ever driven in Washington, DC, then you should be able to feel the following pain. Every road is full of conditional signs. Sometimes the road is one way, others it is two. Some you can't turn down during certain times, but you can others. The lanes aren't very clearly marked, and the stoplights are on the sides of the road, instead of above it. The drivers don't really care who is where and are constantly switching lanes, stopping in the middle of the road, or whatever else they feel like. The cool part is, you can do pretty much whatever you want and the cops didn't seem to care. They were everywhere, but being that close to the white house, they probably have better stuff to worry about. There also must have been something heavy going on, because there were several roads that were completely blocked off by police. After I dropped her off I drove around for a while, and then parked and walked around. I couldn't find anything too cool to do, but just sight seeing was fine with me. It started to get dark so I went back to the hotel. I picked Misty up around midnight, and we went on an adventure to find food. Nothing was open, so we looked up a Buffalo Wild Wings on her phone and got directions. After a disastrous 30 minute drive through DC and into Maryland, we got there only to find out that they were closed. So we headed back to the hotel and ended up at Bob and Edith's 24 hour diner. We were in bed around 3am and got up at 8am to head home. We got back to Greenville in time for me to go to ERP and Distributor Research.

Great day today
Last night Misty and I had dinner with Sallie and Dave and then hung out at their house for a while. This morning we had lunch at Cracker Barrel and then went to the mall. After the mall we somehow weaseled our way into a great parking spot for the ECU vs Rice game. We dominated Rice by over 30 points. Afterward we got dinner and ate at home. Lastly I took Misty to the Briley's Haunted Corn Maze. It scared the shit out of her I thought I was going to have to wheel her out of there on a stretcher. She made it through though and I think sshe had a good time in the end.

Fun Weekend
Saturday I woke up early and went shooting with Andy. After putting in the extractor upgrade kit I haven't had any more problems with the AR15. I haven't shot enough to call it fix, but so far so good. I also got to shoot my Mosin and that thing kicks like a mule. It hurt my shoulder after about 10 rounds.
After shooting I went to the North End and surfed with Corey, Brenden, Bradley, Shane, and Big Chief. A storm came through and the whole beach cleared out. We knew it would pass quickly so we waited it out in our cars. The weather cleared up and we surfed clean waives by ourselves. After surfing for literally 6 hours, we got dinner and decided to sleep in our cars on the beach. We grabbed some fire wood and got that started. It started getting late and I decided that I was going to dig a hole and sleep outside. Everyone else followed suit and we had a little circle of sleeping holes around the fire. Fast forward a few hours, the sun was coming up and it was 50* outside. We were all freezing, so we quickly cleaned up the fire mess, filled in out holes, and bailed. I went home and napped before I closed at work.
Monday I rested. Tuesday I went surfing and it was a blast. Waist+ with long lines. Saw a bunch of guys I hadn't seen in a while. It was a little chilly, but with my 1 mil top on I was toasty. Then I gave my car a thorough wash and vacuuming.
Around 7pm I got a call from Misty who had just totalled her car. She is ok, but is going to have to get a new car.

too much school work
I've been busting my ass for days so that I wouldn't have to do any work over fall break. I didn't get it all done, but most of it. So far tonight I've written a 2 page single spaced paper about the ethics violations in the Enron scandal, 2 page single spaced paper about the physical and communications infrastructure in 5 countries in South East Asia and 5 countries in Central America, and finished a lab report that was an operating plan of a fictitious company. Wednesday I had 2 midterms and got an 80 on one and a 90 on the other.
Saturday I'm going shooting in the morning and to Jacksonville to photograph a race that night. Sunday I'm going to finish my work. Monday and Tuesday are for surfing.

I still need to surf.
I didn't go home this weekend. I basically wasted 2 days of my life not doing anything. I don't even think that I left my apartment. Had classes all day today, which was very tiring. I've got 2 exams this week, then a career fair on Thursday. Misty is coming up Wednesday night and staying until Friday. Friday we are going to hang out with Kevin and Beth for a little while, then heading to Wilmington. I'm surfing for sure on Saturday, come hell or high water. The only thing that'll keep me out is lightning. A guy got killed in WB on Sunday because he got struck by lightning in while in the water.
I finally finished Natalie & Eddie's wedding photos. I think that they turned out well.
I'm ordering some stuff for my rifle in the next week or so. I'm not exactly sure what all I'm getting yet, but I know I'm getting a Midwest Industries rail, a light mount, a bolt extractor upgrade kit, and a few other things.

I need to surf
So I went home for the weekend with every intention of surfing, but the ocean didn't cooperate. Friday night Misty was sick so I got us Buffalo Wild Wings to go and we ate at Megan's house. Saturday I went to Saleena's birthday party. I took photos most of the time but I also got to see Kevin and Beth, Andy and Steph, Charlie, and the couple that own Pine Valley Market that I can never remember their names. Came home from that ready to surf, but it wasn't happening, so I took a nap and went to work. Afterwards Misty and I had dinner, watched some TV and just had a relaxing night in. Sunday, again, was supposed to be surfing, but wasn't. I didn't do much other than work and then my mom got me Mexican for dinner.
I came home Sunday night to see that Chris had moved most of his stuff in. Today I had to suck it up and buy a suit for class and interviews. I looked a few places, but ended up just getting it all at walmart. I really wanted one from J.C. Penney's, but walmart was half the price and it's not like I'll wear this suit very often.

Chris came by to look at the apartment today. I think he is going to be my roommate at least through January. He is 28 or so, was in the Army, in the IDIS program, and an all around stand up guy. I'll know by tomorrow if he is staying.
Finally got to wear my new Glock jacket in the rain and it works well. I also found a place called Defensive Concepts NC which teaches firearm classes. I'm going to go to some for sure. At least a defensive handgun and defensive carbine course.

Looking for a roomy
So they came on Wednesday and installed the carpet. Now that everything is new and the furniture is where it needs to be the place looks nice. I got the kitchen cleaned up pretty well, including the floor. Now all I need to do is get the bathroom as clean as it should be and I'll be good to go.
I had an interesting delivery tonight. This guy called from SC and said that he was supposed to be coming home tonight but couldn't make it. He wanted us to deliver a pizza to his mom, who evidently couldn't talk, and let her know that he couldn't make it home tonight, that he wanted to make sure she had dinner though. I ended up with the delivery and did just that. She was nice, smiled and nodded, and managed to eek out a "bye" as I walked away.
I picked up my Mosin Nagant today. It is pretty cool. It was manufactured in 1942 in Russia. I can't wait to shoot it.

Birthday Weekend
Got home friday just in time to work. Afterward Misty and I drove down to CB to cruise. Hung out with Corey and my Dad. Misty gave me my BDay presents, which concisted of a Tshirt from the Surf House and the MagPul DVDs I wanted. Saturday Cheif bought me lunch at Michealangelos for my birthday, then Corey and I surfed the cove for a while before I went to work. Sunday I got called in to work and worked all day. Then Misty and I went to CB with Corey and Kelsey and got some Britt's donuts. Which is when Misty and I decided that we are going to make my Groom's cake out of Britt's donuts when we get married. Today I went surfing around noon and the waves were pretty big. Got plenty of shoulder plus rides. Then Misty and I went and got her some new fish. Lastly we met everyone at Longhorn for my birhday dinner. Chief and his family, my family, my Mammaw, and Bradley came. My parents got me a Glock jacket that I had been wanting and a Glock Tshirt. Chief's family got me some wax and an Island Kite and Surf Tshirt.
Good weekend.
Good weekend.

So this morning they have the entire apartment painted, bedroom, kitchen, living room, and even the bathroom, all before I even woke up. When I got out of class I did a lot of school work, had Wings over Greenville for dinner, watched Star Trek at the on campus movie theater (good movie BTW) and then came home to do more homework. Good news is I'm free of work for the weekend. Leaving tomorrow for Wilmington, surfing and working all weekend.

Still cleaning
I am still trying to clean this place up. Tomorrow they are coming to paint Bradley's old room and the living room. Then on Monday they are going to do the carpet. I'm so excited to get this place looking good and find a new room mate.
I went to the first PAID meeting today. It sounds like there are going to be some good opportunities to meet employers, and while I'm not a fan of sucking up, I need a job.

Classes are kicking in and kicking in hard. I've got all kinds of work, but the teachers are so vague about how to do it, I'm having a hard time getting started.
I'm going home this coming friday for the 3 day weekend, and the surf forecast looks small and choppy, figures. I'm working every day, but I still plan to go down to the North End with Corey and some friends, surf as much as possible, and spend some time with Misty. I want to get as much school work as possible done, so that I can feel free during the weekend.
A friend of mine from highschool got arrested last night for shooting a gun in the air after getting in a fight in a bar. I'm honestly shocked that this guy did this.

My first weekend in Greenville
Woke up at 8am, was on the road by 9am, was at Kevin's by 11am. We hit the road by 12pm and got to Darlington, SC by 3pm. Took some race photos and he delivered some stuff. We were headed back by 6pm and to his house by 9pm. I schooled him in Rock Band 2, and then left for Greenville around 12:15am. Home by 2am, bed by 3am.

First full week of school
Finished my first full week of school. It looks like it is going to be a busy semester. The class I switched to instead of Pricing sounds like it is going to be easy though, so that is good. After class I napped, cooked Sloppy Joes, watched stand up comedy and played RS:V. Tomorrow I'm driving to Kevin's house and then we are going to a race in Darlington, SC.

Classes started Tuesday, and it looks like it is going to be a tough semester. I had 3 classes with this woman named Mrs. Lawrence, but that was going to be hell, so I switched it out to only have two. I'll have to take one with her next semester, but it'll be better to spread them out. The rest of my classes don't seem too bad, but I'm going to have to be on top of all of them.
I'm still cleaning all kinds of stuff. Yesterday I cleaned the shower really well. Today I cleaned out the kitchen. I washed 2 loads of dishes, cleaned out the freezer, and washed the inside of several drawers. I also cleaned out the laundry room. There was all kinds of crap stuffed in the cabinets, and even a duffle bag that was full of garbage. Literrally things that should have been thrown away years ago. They came and took pics of his room and hopefully next week they are going to paint the walls, replace the carpet, and whatever else is needed to get a new roommate in here.

Cleaning
I'm slowly getting this place cleaned up. It looks as if he stuffed a bunch of shit into a drawer, and once it was full, he just went to the next drawer. I've thrown away 3 trash bags full of shit from the kitchen cabinets, freezer, and bathroom. There was a frozen turkey that had been in there since probably march. Liquor and shit that was older than that. I got new fixtures for the bathroom and a bunch of cleaning stuff.
I talked to the apartment managers and they are going to clean up his room (fix the wall, replace the carpet, etc) and bill him for it. They were able to fix the AC today, so it is at least cool now.

Dynamic Weekend
Saturday morning I got up and was at the beach by 9am. The surf was huge! Skipper had 10ft waves and they were throwing. It wasn't as crowded as I expected. As soon as I hit the water I got stung by a jelly, but it wasn't a man-o-war, so it wasn't too bad. My first wave was the biggest wave that I had ever caught. At least 2ft overhead. I only got about 5 more waves throughout the day, and ended up snapping my my Perfection.
Saturday night we had a cookout at the house and Bradley's family, Big Cheif and his family, Shane, my aunt and uncle, Misty, and our neighbor Thomas came.
Sunday I went surfing for a little bit and then came to Greenville. My apartment is in rough shape. Bradley didn't clean anything and his room is trashed. Holes in the walls, carpet is stained and burned by an iron, etc. It is going to take some work before I can rent it out.

busy
Allen took my to this climbing place called Climb On in Dutch Square. It was a hell of a lot of fun, but shredded my hands.
Hurricane Bill is pushing some huge swell this way. Swell Info is talking about 15ft waves. Usually they exagerate a little, but if the waves are much bigger than 8ft or so, I won't be paddling out. I know my limits, and 15ft is well past it. Sunday should be still head high though, and the clean up swells are usually more fun anyways.
I leave for Greenville for my last year at ECU on Sunday. I'm ready to be done. I still haven't found a roommate, so I need to get on that soon.

Great day

Misty and I tried to go to Tangerine, but they're lunch menu sucked, so we went to Longhorn. Stopped by the new Surf House surf shop & cafe. It is the new place that took over The Cove location. It was pretty chill and the owner Brad seemed cool. I'll withhold my complete judgment for later. After Longhorn we went to Kohl's and the Mall. Then it was time to go to the Donovan Frankenreiter show.
We got there probably 30 minutes before the doors open and had front row seats. I went to get us snacks and Donovan was just chilling next to the bus drinking a beer. I shook his hand and got a photo with him. Gary Jules opened for Donovan and was great. He was funny too. When Donovan started playing everyone started running to the stage in front of all of the people sitting down. Eventually they were right in front of Misty and I. We ended up moving to the back so that we could see. Donovan still put on a good show, although it seemed a little less enthusiastic than when my brother and I saw him last year. During the show I went to the Bathroom and Gary Jules was standing by the bus. I went over to shake his hand. I figured he'd give me the typical, "thanks for coming out" and leave. Instead he started talking to me, asked me my name and we talked about Sanuk's and photography. He was a really cool guy and I'm glad I got to meet him.
Afterwards Misty and I grabbed some dinner from Antonio's and came to Misty's house for the night.

Long time no talk

I know that it has been forever since I've updated this. That wedding is coming up fast at just a week away, but I think I'm ready. We just got back from a trip to Tennesse for Carl's wedding. The wedding was the prettiest I've been to and the trip was fun. I also had a little problem at work tonight...but more on all of this later. Here is a photo from Shelly and Daniel's wedding to hold you over.

Taking lots of photos
I did Shelly's wedding, 2 days later I did some family portraits for Misty's Grandma, then the next weekend I photographed a Carolina Grudge Racing event, then last night I took a bunch of photos of Maddie Mann, Misty's niece, being born. I also booked my first real wedding for August. I think my hand is going to lock up in the camera position.

I keep forgeting
I don't use my laptop much while I'm home, so I forget to update this. I photographed Shelly's wedding last Friday and I think I did a good job. I'm getting better at surfing and my new SOD longboard is everything I hoped it would be.

Bored to tears
I can't wait for this semester to be over...if only I didn't have an internship and summer classes. Greenville is boring as always. I'm going home tomorrow and hopefully I'll get to ride my new board again this weekend.
Lost is getting good and I'm excited.

Busy for the next year
So I talked to my advisor today about graduation. In order to graduate on time (may 2010) I am going to have to have an internship and at least 4 hours of classes this summer, and then take a 19 hour semester and an 18 hour semester next year. I must also pass all of my classes. It sucks, but it is what needs to be done, so that is what I'm going to do. The worst part is the fact that I have to pay 100 bucks per semester hour for summer classes, which means I'm looking at at least $700 out of pocket this summer. Yay for credit cards I guess.
The rest of the day I just worked on my PowerPoint for my technical presentation class.

Great weekend
Friday Misty came up to Greenville for a visit. I took her to dinner at Longhorn (my favorite) and then we went to see I Love You, Man. We had some time to kill so we bought Mancala at Walmart and played that in the car until it was time to go in. Saturday we got a pizza and ate it in the park, then we rented a few movies and I cooked Porkchops for her. Sadly she had to leave me this morning to go to New Bern.
Other than that, Greenville is boring. I've been editing some photos and working on school work. The weather has been amazing and I am eating lunch at the park down near my house almost every day. I can sit in my car and watch the people/birds/river for an hour or so. I've also been swimming at the ECU rec center pool again. I'm trying to work up some stamina for surfing.

For the sake of God
The term is "for God's sake," not "for God sakes." It means "for the sake of God," therefor "for God's sake." If I hear one more person, whether it be on TV or in real life say "for God sakes" or "for heaven sakes," I might explode.

Useless day
I had class this morning and afterwards was beat. So I cam home to try to sleep and couldn't fall asleep. So I dicked around online and went and mailed a CD. I came home and the power was out, so I layed down and fell asleep. I woke up 3 hours later. Now I'm starving and dicking around on the internet again.

Ordered a new longboard
Tuesday I went to Wrightsville Glassing and ordered a board from Shawn O'Donnell. I told him that I wanted a longboard for smaller waves that I could paddle fast on and nose ride. Other than that I told him to just work his magic. It'll be another week or so before I pick it up but I'll be sure to post photos when I get it. If the artwork on the bottom comes out like I want it to, its going to be awesome.

Dave Chappell, we need you
Dave Chappelle came out in 2003 with a sketch comedy show. Every week was hilarious and never disappointed. Since he left the filming of the third season, Comedy Central has been giving other comedians shows in hopes of it having the same success that Dave's did, but to no avail. Carlos Mencia (or should I say Ned) is a joke and a thief, plagiarizing his way up the comedy ladder. His show Mind of Mencia is the same racist joke over and over again and simply isn't funny. He relies on shock value for laughs and seems to have lost any wit that he may have once had. David Allen Greer has a show called Chocolate News, where he plays most of the characters. It is funny at times, but overall not a great success. Mad TV has never been funny and Saturday Night Live hasn't been funny in a long time. Most recently Demitri Martin has gotten his own show called Important Things. So far it is amusing, but very rarely is it laugh out loud funny.
I also fear for the future of stand up comedy. I view Dave Chappelle as being on another level of comedy than most comedians now days. There have been a few funny people come out recently, John Caparulo, Jeff Dunham, Raplhie May, and Kat Williams are a few that I can think of. However, there are also many comedians that are somehow gaining popularity that in my opinion are the antithesis of funny. Jim Gaffigan to talk to me for the rest of my life and I wouldn't laugh a single time. Dane Cook is amazingly popular, and I can't figure out why. He tells simple stories and uses large and obscure words, and because he is good looking people laugh. A lot of his stuff may be funny in passing or mumbled between friends at a bar, but selling out Madison Square Garden is just unfathomable.
What I'm getting at is that I fear for the future of comedy, be it stand up or tv shows, and Dave Chappelle needs to come back and make me laugh.

Surf was epic today
I had class until 12:30, then I jumped in my car and headed to Carolina Beach. My brother met me there with my boards. I paddled out with my 7'6" Proline and couldn't catch anything. So I went and grabbed my 9'0" Perfection and paddled back out. First I caught an over head bomb. Biggest wave I ever caught. I dropped quick and bottom turned and that was it. A few minutes later I was hooted into another head high wave. Dropped in, bottom turned and saw a big wall in front of me. I tucked in, knelt down and started hauling ass down line. It eventually closed out but it was a hell of a ride.

Busy day
I got home from Greenville and wanted to do some work on my car. I took the amp that was mounted to my sub box and mounted it to the back seat. Now I can take out my sub quickly and have the space for cargo. It also makes the amp quite a bit harder to steal. Then I taped my makeshift surf racks on until The Cove gets some in stock. I then washed and vacuumed my car. Misty drove that to the movies and I washed and vacuumed hers.
I also put a new bushing on my skateboard because somehow I managed to bust one of my old ones.

What ever happened to the service industry?
I went to 2 different places today without anyone even talking to me. I went to McDonalds to get some sweet tea and the girl took my card, ran it and gave it back, then gave me my tea and never once even looked me in the eye or said a word. Then at walmart the women rang me up, bagged my stuff, and ran my card without saying anything. How do these people keep their jobs behaving like this?

Greenville is still boring
So far today I've watched Without a Paddle, Max Payne, Kicking and Screaming, and now I'm watching Fun with Dick and Jane. There is nothing to do. The weather is amazing and I should be at the beach.

Greenville is boring
Greenville is just boring. If you don't want to get trashed, there is nothing to do. I don't want to get trashed, so there is nothing to do. I went to a movie on campus, then rented 2 movies. But that has to spread out all weekend.
I need to go to a show. I haven't been to a show since Corey and I saw Donovan at the Soap Box, and that doesn't really count because it wasn't a metal band. Watching Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist maed me miss the dirty streets and graphitied bathrooms. The sticky beer covered floor and not being able to hear the next day.
I am getting tired of Epilogues. I have seen several movies lately that I feel would have been better if they left at the climax. Nicn and Norah was a good movie, but I feel like it was have been at better if they left it right after the climax (no pun intended). Instead they had to wrap up some loose ends, but it made the ending less poetic.
Anyways, I though about going to the fireing range tomorrow to kill some time, but I am gong next weekend with Misty and some friends and I can't really afford to buy ammo for both.
I ordered a rifle kit from www.del-ton.com yesterday. Which means as soon as I get it I can finally build my first AR-15. It won't be ready for another 3 months, but it'll be worth the wait.

I felt a little gay today
Saturday I managed to lock the keys in the house where Misty and I were dog sitting. I ended up having to call a locksmith and pay him 55 bucks to spend 45 seconds picking the lock. After that I went surfing with Big Chief. It was incredibly small but it was still a hell of a lot of fun. After work Misty cooked some delicious pork chops, with brocoly and mashed potatoes, topped off with some brownies for dessert. Sunday I had to work all day, but Dewey let me off for about an hour to run back to Hot Wax where I got some more Sanuk's and a pair of DC shoes. I got off in time to catch the second half of the super bowl.
Oh, I was in the shower earlier and relized that I was out of condition. I was kind of upset. That is why I felt a little gay.

Should students be able to carry concealed?
I am a member on multiple firearm forums. www.glocktalk.com being one of the main ones. The topic of students who are licenced to carry concealed weapons being allowed to carry on campus came up, and here is my response to one particular post.
I've had this argument with anti's before, I'm surprised I'm having to say it on a glock forum.
1. I am a 21 year old college student at ECU in Greenville, NC
2. I have a gun.
3. I'm licensed by the state of NC to carry concealed.
3. I have teachers that piss me off.
4. While I don't drink often, I do occasionally.
5. I take prescription meds. Mainly for my asthma, but I also have pain killers for the 2 herniated disks in my back.
I do all of the above responsibly. I've had teacher's get me pretty heated. However, being pissed doesn't make me a murderer. Just because I'm upset at a teacher doesn't mean that I want to physically harm them. When I do drink, I secure my gun. I have no intention to use my gun while I have been drinking and I never drink enough to not be in control of the situation.
Anyone who is in college (and 21) CAN arm themselves. Simply because they can't arm themselves while on campus, doesn't mean that they can't arm themselves at all other times. If I am 21 and chose to get a concealed carry permit, and I am considered mature and responsible enough to carry everywhere else during my day to day life, what is it about stepping onto a college campus that makes me all of a sudden too immature and irresponsible to carry.
What about adult students? In almost every one of my classes there is at least 1 student that is older than the professor. Is a 40 year old too irresponsible to do what he has been doing for 20 years simply because he is a student?
I hope that this sheds a little light on the subject. If anyone has any questions I'd be happy to discuss this with you.

New Room mate

Today I got new Hurley and Reef stickers for my car. I didn't do alot all day but for dinner I grilled a New York strip and watched The Love Guru. It had its funny parts but it wasn't great. Tomorrow I think I am going to do some school work and be incredibly bored.
A side note...why in the hell can no 2 establishments make a caramel macchiato that tastes the same, or for that matter, make one that tastes the same 2 times in a row. The best one I've ever had was at a Port City Java in Newbern, but the PCJ in Wilmington can't make one for shit. Starbucks is usualy ok but today it tastes like burnt milk.

Tramadol is the shit
I was at the bank today cashing a check so that I could pay my electric bill when my back almost completely gave out on me. It had been hurting since yesterday, but I had to sit down for a few minutes because I simply could not stand up. After a few minutes I was able to take care of my business and get home and take some of my Tramadol, which is a non narcotic prescription pain killer. 15 minutes later I felt great. It blows my mind at how well this stuff kills pain with no side effects whatsoever.
I got a really nice New York strip and some sirloin tip to grill tomorrow. Harris Teeter has great deals on meat if you have a VIC card.
I was finally able to get my watch today. It is a Nixon Lowdown tide watch. The band is rubber so it is very comfortable. It has a bunch of different functions, but I basically wanted it for the fact that it is a tide watch that was made for surfers.

I ended up finding a dry patch of concrete and installed my speakers. I hit a few road blocks, but overall they went in without much trouble. I think I reversed the polarity on the front driver's side speaker so I need to go back in and switch the wires.
I drove out to the UPS warehouse but the truck wasn't back yet so I didn't get my watch. I told them to just hold it there and I'll go pick it up tomorrow.

So this is my blog
I've decided to start a blog so that I can keep track of my thoughts. I get mighty bored up here at ECU and I'd like to have a place to leave anything that may cross my mind. I'm sure that I will cover many bases, from politics to art, technology to camping, and everything in between.
I am a college student, a surfer, a photographer, and a bit of a firearm enthusiast. I know a little bit about everything and everything about nothing.
